AWS is committed to every person’s right to live in a violence-free home.  AWS provides culturally competent support services for all survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking to rebuild a new life free of violence. Currently AWS’ language capacity is of 40 languages.

*AWS is part of the ATCBA (Anti-Trafficking Collaborative of the Bay Area) led by APILO (Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach).  ATCBA provides legal services, shelter, case management and case coordination, advocacy, accompaniment, referrals, and networking with other services such as health, counseling, job training, and transitional housing. ATCBA members include APILO, AWS, and Mujeres Unidas y Activas (MUA). 


AWS provides technical assistance on: 
Training on Human Trafficking Basic and Case Management (include but not limited to definitions of trafficking, trends, case management, and shelter services, language and cultural support, and building collaboration).
